Description: Indebted poor countries that dare to try to help lift their citizenry out of poverty with even the most minimal of social program spending are whipped back into shape by the enforcers of Structural Adjustment. Let's get our priorities straight: funneling money to wealthy northern banks and creditors through perpetual debt servicing is more important than human life.
